Andrew Minchew's Internet Webpage

Hosted on Keybase because its 10gb of free storage and web hosting, apparently?

I'm a designer. I studied architecture and product design at the University of Houston, but I didn't finish. I've tinkered with code using things like Processing, CodeCademy, Udacity and even walking through the tutorials on W3Schools.com way back before I ever read anything about coding being something that everyone needs to know. Anyways, I eventually finished school with general studies degree and I've been blessed in a lot of ways, not the least of which was taking part in the planting of a church in the Neartown area of Houston, aptly named Neartown Church. After about 6 years of church planting in one capacity of another, I found that it was time to change course.

I'm a few months past 30 and I still don't really know what I want to be when I grow up. I think I'm hot on the trail, but I wouldn't say I've laid hold of it yet.

Since I like technology (I worked for Apple for a few years) and I like making things, I keep coming back to the idea that I too need to learn to code because that's how internet people make things and solve problems, right? And since my year of SquareSpace is up and I have a job that I'm really enjoying, I thought this would be the perfect time to code my portfolio website from scratch.

Thanks for visiting! Come back soon-ish and maybe there will be more to see?
